In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water, on high for 2-3 minutes. The coffee will gradually get lighter and fluffier. I like mine to have stiff peaks, which takes about 3 minutes.

Fill two glasses 3/4 full with ice. Pour in the milk, also about 3/4 full. Spoon the whipped coffee over the milk. Swirl the coffee into the milk and sip through a straw. The resulting caramel-y, slightly bittersweet, creamy coffee, will be everything you need to feel a little fancy, from the comfort of your own kitchen.
